| | HiNews requires PERL 5 or higher, and runs on any UNIX derived platform (Linux, Cobalt etc.) or any WIN32 server platform (NT, Win2k etc.) |

Does HiNews require database connectivity on the server? |
| | In it's basic form, no.
However if required, we can easily assist in linking HiAgents to run with an existing database, such as MS Access or SQL Server, or configure the module to build a new database on the fly. |
