Two
recent projects help to demonstrate the power
of this medium.
The first, programmed
for a major financial house (a confidentiality agreement
precludes naming them), was a portfolio comprising
more than 200 large commercial
properties in a single European country, with an
asking price
in excess of $1.5bn. |

| The
purpose of the CD was to provide prospective
purchasers with all the information they might
require to make a purchase decision - full
specifications, floor plans, elevations, tenancy
schedules, income profiles etc.
Ease of use was much enhanced by combining
search interfaces with a series of clickable
maps. |

| Each
property was fully described and
illustrated . |

| The
second project, Maths Made Easy puts the
content of a popular book series used to teach numeracy
to young children on to CD.
It will be distributed on two CD-ROMs and runs to
several hundred animated pages, peopled with characters
like the frog above who will already be familiar
to the children.
Throughout, the child's competetive instincts are
prodded gently, and completion of each section brings
appropriate praise - National Curriculum Maths with
the feel and fun of a computer game! |
