The purpose of this site
is to make the work of an exciting stable of contemporary
artists available to the world market.
The
visitor can browse through hundreds
of visuals, grouped by artist,
collecting those of interest in a popup
"shopping cart" window along the way.
A3 or A4 jpegs
of the selected images can be downloaded without
charge for use in client presentations.
Clicking
an image enlarges it.
Full-scale
print-quality versions of those images finally
selected for commercial use can then be ordered
for electronic transmission.
Although the content of
this site consists almost entirely of images,
the whole site is, in fact, generated "on-the-fly"
from a custom database which we developed for
Private View.
A dedicated "admin
suite" is provided as database maintenance
needs to be fast and simple.

software checks for the presence of an image before
displaying it, one feature which disfigures many sites
- the "image missing" symbol - never appears!
