Through the addition of
Excelcius Modules, the functionality of HiContacts
- or any Excelcius powered solution - can be drastically
broadened and enhanced.
In this way, HiContacts can service not only your
current needs of an online Contact manager, but
can also be easilty upgraded to supply a wide range
of new, perhaps unforeseen requirements.
As functionality is upgraded, your existing data
is retained, and the learning curve is much reduced
as the usage methodology is maintained throughout
the Excelcius product family.

Work / Task Log Module
Allows Users to record tasks or
work that they have completed during the day. This
module serves to provide a record of productivity,
and promotes friendly competitiveness amongst colleagues.
Additionally, users can request Tasks to be done
by other Users, by uploading Tasks to other User
areas for upcoming days. Usage is logged, and every
entry is supported by a Description area for further
details if required. The Daily View shows all Tasks
completed per User, and the weekly View can be focused
on any one User. This Module will greatly enhance
productivity, especially when Users work from home
or from multiple offices. |

Project Management Module
This is a very sophisticated Module
- the primary aims are to ensure projects are completed
efficiently and profitably. The system provides
a single central area for documents and important
communication relating to a project, and allows
developers and the Client limited access to certain
areas. The system firstly stores the original Project
Specification online, and requires the Client to
authorise that as the final build document. Various
Phases are then laid out by Admin, as a loose route
to completion. Lead Developers can then create and
assign Tasks for each stage and as they are completed,
progress is logged. The Client is able to log onto
the system to view progress, which reduces the work
load on staff whose time is better spent developing
than talking!
Importantly, any deviation from the original spec
can also be logged, providing a record to support
requests for increases in budget. |

Ideas Log Module
A simple but incredibly useful
Module! Good ideas are often flashes of brilliance
that disappear from mind as quicly as they occur.
With this Module, ideas however simple can be logged
online for future reference. They might be simple
tasks that need doing, or ways to improve systems
or products. If your employees become idle at any
time, they can view the Ideas list and take on any
they can handle, or add their own ideas, or comment
on existing ideas. Includes a 'Status' rating, so
Users know if an Idea is alraedy being developed. |

SMS Manager Module
This is primarily a marketing Module,
though it can be useful for contacting or reminding
members of staff too. SMS means 'Short Message Service',
and allows text messages to be sent from your solution
to mobile phones. Hibyte provide all the connectivity
and systems - the SMS service is leased monthly,with
prices starting from £160 GBP per month, including
a quota of 2000 text messages. Additional messages
are charged at 8pence each - online account access
and itemised billing is also included. The service
allows messages to be sent worldwide, although being
a UK based operator texts to other countries count
as 'overseas' and may incur additional network feeds.

Clients Module
A Contacts Module tailored for
storing details of Clients. It will display the
current and previous project or Interest a Client
has, plus all the usual contact details for the
firm itself. Further, it allows an unlimited number
of Contacts to be added to this Client records -
ideal for the common situation where you deal with
more than one person at a Client firm. Contacts
may be searched independantly of firm, and a supporting
Notes area allows important points and /or communication
to be logged. |

is a highly sophisticated database
driven online content management
technology. It combines fantastic performance

SQL compliant database, including
MS Access*, MS SQL Server,
MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle etc.
This tried and tested, well proven
product can be rapidly deployed
via FTP. Utilising template systems,
the client facing elements can be
readily adapted to suit an existing
brand, and Excelcius' rich feature
set can be easily customised to
ensure the client's requirements
are perfectly provided for.
